NOVAVA started with a simple observation — being a parent is one of the most rewarding things in the world, but it shouldn't have to be exhausting. Watching my sister-in-laws and my own sister navigate the beautiful chaos of new parenthood, I saw firsthand the struggle: the sleepless nights, the endless packing, the scramble to find quality products that actually work on the go.

I knew there had to be a better way.

Premium baby travel essentials exist overseas — but in South Africa, parents were either paying a fortune for imported brands or settling for products that didn't meet the mark. I saw that gap and decided to do something about it.

The name behind the brand

NOVAVA is a combination of my dogs' names and the Afrikaans word baba. It's personal, it's warm, and it reflects exactly what this brand is about — family, love, and the little ones who make life worth everything.
